Soothing Milk Bath

So much more than your ordinary oatmeal bath. 

Milk baths—there are few beauty rituals that feel as decadent and soothing as soaking in milk (Cleopatra is said to have been a big fan). Our goal, however, when formulating this product was to create more than just a luxurious treatment—we wanted to upgrade the classic oatmeal bath.

This calming blend combines healing herbal extracts with vitamin-rich coconut milk to leave skin moisturized, velvety soft, and smelling ever so slightly like a delicious baked good. Oatmeal has long been known to soothe skin ailments such as eczema and psoriasis, while honeysuckle, chamomile, aloe, and burdock extracts aim to help relieve irritation and itchy skin. Formulated to alleviate dryness, this comforting blend is also a fantastic remedy for sunburns or anyone with very sensitive skin (it's a hit with babies and new moms).

A note:

At Palermo, we love a multi-purpose product. Our Milk Bath can also be used as a face mask or spot treatment on particularly dry or irritated areas. Simply mix a bit of Milk Bath with water to form a paste and apply it to the affected area.
